Vincent Autin and Bruno Boileau made history on Wednesday when they said "I do" to became the first gay couple in France to be legally pronounced “husband and husband”.

Mr Autin, a 40-year-old gay rights activist, met his 30-year-old partner in 2006.

Some 600 guests were invited and 150 media crews were accredited for the ceremony, the BBC's Christian Fraser, in Paris, reports.

Several businesses and well-wishers sent wedding presents to the couple.

Baby Rescued From Toilet Pipe Born in Toilet by ‘Accident’

The mother of the Chinese newborn trapped in a sewer pipe in a stunning ordeal caught on video had raised the initial alarm and was present for the entire two-hour rescue but did not admit giving birth until confronted by police, reports said Wednesday.

The state-run, Hangzhou-based newspaper Dushikuaibao said police became suspicious when they found baby toys and blood-stained toilet paper in the 22-year-old woman's rented room, in the building where Saturday's rescue occurred in eastern China.

A South Florida mom gave birth clutching a wheelchair on a sidewalk early Friday morning outside a Boca Raton hospital -- and Miami-based birth photographer Emily Robinson captured the incredible moment in unforgettable images.

"It was the first time I ever saw a mother be wheeled INTO the hospital holding her new baby," Robinson wrote on her blog. "It was the fastest, most incredible, beautiful, wild birth I've ever had the pleasure to document."

TWO young men have been remanded in Agodi Prison by an Ibadan Magistrate Court for allegedly using a magical ring to abduct and gang-rape a 19-year-old secondary school girl in Ibadan.

The rape victim said she closed from school at Wofun Iyana Church, and was accosted by the suspects who insisted she should follow them to their residence. But, when she refused, one of them allegedly used a magical ring to hit her on the chest and she was unconscious.

Baby Saved From Toilet Pipe

A newborn baby was rescued by the Chinese firefighter from a sewage pipe after he was flushed down the toilet, according to BBC. 

The resident of an apartment called the firefighters after they heard the cries of the baby. The firefighters failed to take the newborn out in the first attempt and ended up cutting the section of the sewage pipe in which the baby was stuck.

A very big disaster was averted last Sunday, May 19th, when an SAA South African Airways Airbus A340-600, registration ZS-SNG performing flight SA-60 from Johannesburg (South Africa) to Lagos (Nigeria) conveying over 300 people developed an electrical fault in Mid-air. I got this info from someone on the flight and i am surprised that it's not in the news.
