  club owner and 9 kenya strippers arrested 



A German national and nine Kenyan strip dancers arrested in a famous night club in Mombasa on Sunday night have been arraigned in Shanzu Law Court. The 10, charged with exhibiting an indecent show and prostitution contrary to Sexual Offenses Act, were nabbed by police at Banhof Club in Mtwapa.
The German national, Ian Huthson, who is the club owner, was charged that on June 3, intentionally directed the nine women to dance naked with an intention of making financial gains for himself and his co-accused. The women pleaded guilty while the German pleaded not guilty.
The crackdown comes in the wake of increased immoral and sexually explicit “entertainment” in Coast. Pornographic film The arrest comes barely a month after a Swiss national Christopher Clement Weissenrieder, and 11 women were arrested at an apartment in Nyali while allegedly shooting a pornographic film with a dog.
Prosecutor Paul Makonge asked resident magistrate James Obura for one more day to finalize investigations and background checks on the arrested suspects before proceeding to trial. The case be heard tomorrow.
