A very big disaster was averted last Sunday, May 19th, when an SAA South African Airways Airbus A340-600, registration ZS-SNG performing flight SA-60 from Johannesburg (South Africa) to Lagos (Nigeria) conveying over 300 people developed an electrical fault in Mid-air. I got this info from someone on the flight and i am surprised that it's not in the news.

Indian doctors said Wednesday they have successfully carried out a first round of reconstructive surgery on the skull of a baby suffering from a rare disorder that caused her head to nearly double in size.

 according to Vaishya - the baby's health had "shown remarkable improvement" after last week's surgery at the hospital run by the private Fortis Healthcare group.

A man was arrested after he hid in a supermarket before closing then ate their all night.The homeless man, 

Trevor Runyon, 30, of Louisville, Kentucky, was arrested after spending the night in the supermarket, and feasted like a king.

According to Officer Michael Huffman of the Mt. Washington police, when the ValuMarket manager opened the store in the morning, he found empty packages of stakes, shrimps, cake, and beer among other things.

A young British soldier was beheaded in broad daylight Wednesday. He was on his way back to his barracks in a London attack carried out by men who labeled themselves as terrorists.

UK’s Daily Telegraph reports that the soldier was serving at the Royal Artillery Barracks and was returning after a day out, when the London attack occurred.
