Footballer Chidi Odiah Turns A Cab Driver In US

Former Super Eagles defender Chidi Odiah now faces life after football since he relocated to the United States of America(USA).

Odiah was sacked by his Russian club CSKA Moscow two years ago due to loss of form which family members claimed was caused by his marriage crisis. While at CSKA, Odiah helped the Russian club to win two League titles, five Russian Cup triumphs and the UEFA Cup(now known as Europa League)in 2005.

“Chidi has stopped playing and is now in USA.I heard he invested heavily in taxi business which is a reliable source of income over there. The good thing is that he bought two houses in US. He rented out one of them and he leaves in the other apartment. He should be comfortable because he made a lot of money when he was in Russia and he invested wisely with it both at home and abroad’’
