Father Who Beat 5-Year-Old Daughter's Rapist to Death Will Go Free, Because He Deserves To

from stir

Last year, a father was alerted that a farm worker was seen forcibly dragging his 5-year-old daughter into a remote shed on his Texas farm. The father did what most of us would do -- he ran to the location and stopped the man from finishing his horrible crime by beating him in the head and neck with his bare hands.
This week prosecutors decided that this unidentified dad will not be charged with any crime, based on a law that says it's okay to use deadly force in order to stop a sexual assault. Hooray for that law. Other states should consider adopting it.
It's a shame that anyone had to die, but you know what, it's a shame that a child was raped. It's a shame that she's going to need lots of therapy to get over it. It's a shame that the family of the girl had to go through something as horrific as this. So not gonna lose too much sleep over that one.
When the crime first happened in June of last year, overwhelming support for the 23-year-old father's actions, both from townspeople and people in law enforcement.
Perhaps the one mitigating factor that led to his not being charged was what the father did afterward. After the initial shock and fight response of seeing 47-year-old Jesus Mora Flores with his pants down and attacking his little baby, he did call 9-1-1 and say the man needed a hospital. He had not intention of killing anyone that day. He was just being a parent.
Unfortunately, the rapist did not survive his injuries. And the world is probably a better place. Case closed.
Could you imagine if he court had actually sent this dad to jail for trying to protect his child? What kind of world would that be?!!
