LAGOS: DROWNED TEENAGER BODY MISSING 

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, yesterday said the body of the teenager who drowned last Friday at the Bar Beach, Lagos, was yet to be recovered.

The teenager, a male, was sent to an early grave after some fun seekers celebrating the Eid-el-fitri at the beach suddenly raised alarm on noticing that the boy’s life was in danger. The victim, as gathered, was swimming when all of a sudden, the wave became boisterous and swept him deeper into the ocean.

Attempt by three life guards to rescue the drowning teenager failed as they could not go further following the intense wave of the surging ocean.
